People noticed that President Duterte hasn’t been around for a few days. And this had the opposition lighting fires and blowing smoke, mostly from the Liberal party. President Duterte expressed his distress over Senators Leila De Lima and Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan last June 17, 2017, Tuesday night. According to gmanetwork.com Pres. Duterte said the following:
Sabi niya I should not lie to the nation. Si De Lima is only interested to hear about my dying or death. She does not care if I live.
“Si Pangilinan also. What do they really care if I die today or tomorrow? If I get sick or tired? Your only interest is to know where I am and whether or not I am dying or dead! I should not bare all,”
Senator Panfilo Lacson also retorted and appealed to disclose the health condition of Pres. Duterte.
The President also stressed that during the time he was not around, he was travelling anonymously or just in bed.
“Hindi halata sa media, ganoon. Tatlo lang, apat, including the driver. I had a talk with somebody,”
Ernesto Abella, the Presidential spokesperson, chortled about a column saying that Pres. Duterte had a mild stroke, the column was written by former senator Francisco “Kit” Tatad. Abella then said “He stood up. He showed himself. Kit Tatad may just be creating fantasies,”
