Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. lashed out Ombudsman Conchita Morales for protecting the yellow camp. Revilla cited that Morales should serve her country fairly and not be taking the side only to the opposition.

Morales charged former President Noynoy Aquino in court with the usurpation of authority in connection with the Mamasapano incident. For Revilla, as Morales was Aquino appointee, he believed Morales is not working fairly and he recounted how painful it was of paying the sin they did not commit.

Revilla, along with former Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile, faced plunder charges over their alleged misuse of government funds. There were detained now at the Custodial Center in Camp Crame with De Lima.

Meanwhile, for President Rodrigo Duterte, he stated that the case filed against Aquino is bound to fail. “Charging Aquino for that, silly. It’s a silly charge. The charges are there to ensure failure,” Duterte said.

“You can’t say usurpation of authority…He can call on anybody to help him fight a criminal operation there. He was not using the administrative talent in appointments, signing, he was just asking for the advice from the professional police. I do not see anything wrong there,” Duterte added.
